Monthly Archives: April 2014
Dear Seniors
You brave, tired group of people. You have exactly one month left at Greenville College. Four weeks to eat at Mario’s Pizza one last time. Twenty-eight days to decide if you are actually going to go to class.
People to Look for at Junior and Senior
With Jr/Sr right around the corner I thought it would be good to inform everyone of the different people you may meet. Whether this is your first time going to Jr/Sr or your last, I think this list will be most helpful for those that would rather people watch than dance (I'll admit, guilty as charged!) Without further ado, the top five people you will likely meet at this event are:
Morning Tea with Princess Ashley, Episode 3
Check out Episode 3 of Morning Tea with Princess Ashley! Featuring: Ben Wayman, Greenville College News, Anti-Morning Girl, Happy Dances, and more!
In Over a Month
March 9th to April 26th. That’s the length of our women’s tennis season. In just over a month 10 girls came together and formed a small family, alongside our tennis matches. While that month may seem short to outsiders, to those of us on the team, it feels a lot longer.
5 Great Grad Gifts
Graduation is just around the corner, and it is a great time to show seniors how much you care. Here are five great little somethings to give to your favorite senior!
What to Expect While Student Teaching: “Elementary” Style
Student Teaching; a period of guided teaching when the teacher candidate takes increasing responsibility for leading the school experiences of a group of learners over a period of consecutive weeks.

Gina Kester
You’ve probably seen her emails. She is the one who sends us the job postings so that we can look for work while enrolled in school and for the summer. But not many of you may know who she really is. Her name is Gina Kester and she is an Administrative Assistant who truly cares about the students that she helps.

Pinterest is hands down one of the most addicting websites/social media places as of late. There is so much someone can do while exploring around the site. Not only does it include yummy recipes, but handy DIY for all ages! I love getting creative ideas just by browsing and searching for certain topics. Because of this, I decided to venture out and create three of the popular trends I see repinned on my homepage.
Housing Crisis!
The annual housing lottery which takes place every spring to determine who lives where has been subjected to intense criticisms from the student body of late. Tim Caldwell, Dustin Fenton, and other staff have been viewed less than kindly for their role in the whole fiasco thus far. However, to achieve the most accurate picture of the situation we must examine several viewpoints.
