LeBron Beats His Former Team

On February 11th 2015, Cleveland Cavilier LeBron James faced his former team, The Miami Heat, shortly before All-Star Weekend, coming out on top 113-93. This win was the 10th straight win at Cleveland for the Cavs. The Heat played the game without their star shooting guard, Dwayne Wade, who is not expected to return until after All-Star Weekend.

The Cavs started strong, scoring 38 points in the first quarter without looking back, leading by 26 at one point in the first half. Although LeBron only scored 18 points, he piled up 10 rebounds and dished out 7 assists. Although their efforts fell short, Miami Center Hassan Whiteside piled up 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Cleveland forward Kevin Love left the game in the 3rd quarter after Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers poked him in the eye, leaving Love with a corneal abrasion in his right eye.

The Cavaliers are now 33-22, ranking second in the Central Division and fifth in the EasternĀ Conference. This weekend, LeBron James played in the 2015 NBA All-Star game, recording his 11th All-Star season.
