Some of you may have heard of Club ROOTS but aren’t quite sure what it is. Club ROOTS is a GCSA approved non-profit organization that provides breakfast, lunch and snacks for children of families with insufficient funds in Sorento, Illinois.  I sat down with Stephanie Rodriguez, a junior Communication major and Accounting minor, who is involved with Club ROOTS to talk about what this organization’s purpose is, and its plans for the future. Check out what she had to say in the podcast down below.

Be sure to donate non perishable food items to the Club ROOTS food drive going on now until May 1st! Don’t forget to go to the Improv-Off featuring Joyous Chaos vs The Factory Theatre Team! The cost of admission is $1, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Club ROOTS!
