The Greenville College Women’s Volleyball team is going for its sixth straight SLIAC championship this season and has already opened up conference play with six straight wins to take an early lead in the standings.
A large part of the Lady Panthers’ success this season can be credited to some young talent in the starting lineup, which is comprised of two freshmen. One of those freshmen is middle blocker Riley Hannula, who had 9 kills in last Saturday’s big 3-2 win over rival Webster.
I caught up with Riley to learn more about what makes the GC Volleyball program unique, how she ended up at Greenville, and what her hidden talent is. It may surprise you!
