Dr. Brian Hartley will serve as the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. The Dean of Arts and Sciences is a part-time position, so Dr. Hartley will continue teaching part-time in the Religion department. Dr. Mark Lamb will be the new Dean of the School of Education. This is a full-time primarily administrative position directing the school’s multiple on-campus, off-campus, and online programs in Education. Current Interim Education Dean Dr. Brian Reinhard will be the Associate Dean of the School of Education as well as an Associate Professor of Spanish. “Visiting Professor” Megan Tyler will return as an Instructor in the School of Education. Benjamin Wayman will be new to the Greenville College Department of Philosophy and Religion. Wayman is currently completing his doctoral work with the support of a dissertation year fellowship from St. Louis University, and will arrive with PhD in hand next fall. Dr. Larry Sayler will be serving as the Chair of the Management Department so there is no need for his current “interim” title. Congratulate and welcome these new positions next year.

There are several other search committees in the process of hiring for several other openings. Make sure to pray for them as they begin the search and find the right people for the right work at Greenville College.

These new positions affect not only faculty, but students as well and it is important for our community to support the committees and leaders in prayer.
