The Greenville College Women’s Basketball team finished their regular season off strong with a five game winning streak to up their overall record to 18-7 (14-4 SLIAC). The Lady Panthers are heading into the SLIAC Tournament as the second seed behind top seed Westminster College, with three seed Spalding University and fourth seed Eureka College. Head coach Roy Mulholland is feeling confident about facing the Spalding Golden Eagles in their first tournament game as the two teams split a pair of games in the regular season.  The Lady Panthers lost an overtime game to the Golden Eagles earlier this month. Greenville has gone 0-6 in previous tournament appearances but are remaining optimistic as they currently have the lowest average points (55.2) allowed per game in conference play this season.

Check out the podcast below as coach Mulholland gives his thoughts on the conference tournament and discusses his approach going into this tournament, who his key players are and what he is doing to prepare to make the most of this opportunity.

GC will begin tournament play on Friday, Feb 26 at 6 p.m. against Spalding.
