The WWE is company for professional wrestling that integrates media and entertainment on their platform. Created by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in the 1950’s as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, changed to World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. in 2002; and that is exactly what they provide: entertainment! The WWE is a scripted, story line-based form of entertainment with choreographed matches that if done incorrectly, it can seriously risk the performers of injuries and even death!
In my new Episode of King Production, Rakim Murphy and I go into detail of why the fans are outraged by the WWE Network so much that they are petitioning to cancel the whole network! The recent Hell in a Cell 2019 match with the main event Universal Champion Seth Rollins and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt which ultimately ended in a disqualification on Bray Wyatt and leaving Rollins as the remaining champion. This left the fans disappointed and they even started chanting that they wanted refunds in the crowd. A company based on scripts and “acting” while performing athletic and high-flying moves just isn’t enough anymore for the crowd. Murphy and I bring up notable names such as John Cena, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Undertaker and more to try and compare our history of the WWE to today’s generation of wrestlers Like Roman Reigns, Ronda Rousey, and WWE Champion AJ Styles.
