Comedy has long been an old boy’s club. Men have dominated improv teams, sitcom casts, and stand up comedy for years. The origins of the belief that women are not funny is difficult to trace, but can still be seen in parts of popular culture today. Out of the eighteen comedians currently on the cast of Saturday Night Live only seven are female. Late night television has no female hosts. Primetime network comedies are overwhelming centered on a male lead character.
In this episode, Adam and Jake chill with improv member Katie Killeen as they discuss tonight's improv show. They also dissect new Papyrus articles and the weird news of the day including a chicken shaped church, urinal love and portly Batman's. Check out Adam and Jake on Twitter and iTunes!
