Regardless of what many people may think, our favorite celebrities do age and have annual birthdays just like us- even if they don’t always look like it! The month of Oct. celebrates many birthdays for great people, including a few well-known and talented actors! Here are our top 3 October Celebrity Birthdays.
# 3 Kate Winslet
Her birthday was on Oct. 5 and Winslet turned 40 years old. We have all know Kate since we were born, considering our mothers were as obsessed with Titanic as we are now. Her performance in Titanic, and other movies such Divergent, Labor Day, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, all go to show how much talent she has as an actress and why we love to see her on the big screen. She will also be starring in the much-anticipated film Steve Jobs that comes out Oct. 23.
# 2 Matt Damon
Damon’s birthday was on Oct. 8 and he turned 45 years old. Matt Damon has given us several wild rides as he has played Jason Bourne in the action/adventure Bourne franchise. He also gave us a thrill when he starred in Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen with other big names like George Clooney and Brad Pitt. One of his newest films is The Martian, a movie that came out Oct. 2. He stars as an astronaut, left behind on Mars after he and his fellow astronauts tried to escape a super storm on Mars. This movie is sure to be a big hit in the box offices. So, definitely check it out.
# 1 Julie Andrews
Julie Andrews stands as our number one and celebrates her birthday at the top of October’s list as well, as her birthday was on the 1st. Andrews turned 80 years old this year. We all remember her from some of our favorite childhood movies. Whether your favorite was Andrew’s song about the word supercalifragilisticexpialidocious in Mary Poppins, or maybe the thrilling love story she had in The Sound of Music, her movies always bring us back to some of our favorite childhood memories. She also starred in both Princess Diaries movies where she played one tough Queen and a very loving grandmother, making us all wish we were the princess of Genovia for more than just the royalty! Andrews has been an amazing actress all of our lives and we can’t wait to see what she will be doing next. We all know that without her roles in these movies, our lives would be changed forever.
