The summer is always a great time for movie goers. We are treated to tons of movies, whether it’s a blockbuster or independent film, to chose from. Sometimes it may seem a little overwhelming, and without endless funds or time it’s hard to decide what to see and what to pass up. Here is a list of the movies I am most excited for this summer, and that you should considering giving a chance.

This article has taken me a while to write. I wanted to do more research before writing, and I wasn't exactly sure how to write this article in the first place. Going to school at Greenville has taught me to be open minded, and the Film and Lit. class I'm in right now has taught me a lot about adapting novels/stories to film. Maybe that is why I actually liked the movie.

The cinematic genre of the Romantic Comedy has been misunderstood, disrespected, and used as the butt of many jokes for years and years. There are some who reject romantic comedies on grounds of principle, arguing that the movies are just sentimental fluff. Others find the familiar plot arch predictable and boring. Still others, mainly females, find great enjoyment, fun, and laughter from a good romantic comedy.

It’s no secret that the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins has become wildly popular and famous both in the books and on screen with the first two books turned into movies. People of all ages are getting into this series originally intended to be a young-adult novel.

With the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade officially kicking off television’s holiday season, we officially can say that we have permission to watch our favorite Christmas entertainment. From the classic It’s a Wonderful Life to the ever-popular How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the holiday season bursts with so many specials and movies that there’s something for pretty much everyone to love. So, pop in your favorite and turn up the radio, because Christmas is coming!

Justin Timberlake is moving to “Take back the Night” from Miley Cyrus and her crew his new album the 20/20 experience – 2 of 2. He has inspired many people since his days with Nsync, especially GC student Crystal Belwood. Her love of Justin Timberlake influenced her to create the GC tradition, Justified Fridays. What started off as simple enjoyment became a weekly celebration of all things Justin.
