Greenville University has an amazing Cheerleading Team. They help push the football team through wins, and pump up the crowd. I got a chance to meet with the Head Coach, Sean Washington, and a couple of the cheerleaders after the football game.
Emily Koberlein, who is a junior at Greenville University, is the team captain. She was joined by Amarie White, Saylor Lappin, Alyssa Middleton, and Abigail Webster in the interview with the GU Papyrus. They are excited for this year continuing with the football season, and are eager for basketball season to start. They also will be competing in a cheer competition in California, in February.
