Today on this episode, Jessica Sturgeon and I made a wonderful tasting Open Faced Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. This was an original recipe that Jessica made herself! Derived from the Greek words theos (God) and logos (words), theology quite literally means ‘to speak of God’. In Kelly Kapic’s work, A Little Book for New Theologians, he highlights how all who speak of God are consequently doing theology. Hence, contrary to Christian historic perception, theology is not a word designated just for those in scholasticism or academia, but also the common place. However, it is imperative to point out how the word theology has taken on its own life within the history of Christianity. Throughout Church history there have been multiple attempts to fully define theology.

We all know THAT couple, that couple that claim they are not dating but spend every waking moment texting and every free chance together. This way of communicating interest and getting to know each other has seem to become the norm in a phenomena we like to call ‘talking’. We see these people across the DC, enjoying lunch when someone asks, “Are Phoebe and Bartholomew dating?” You immediately correct them by stating “No, they aren't dating, they are just talking.”

There is a trend in “Generation Y” or in “the Millennials” where people are becoming less religious and attending church less frequently. Millennial is a term that generally refers to a person who is born somewhere between 1980 and 2000. So, if there is a decrease in church and religious activity in this age group, what has caused it? What makes this generation different than the one before it?

The day I graduate college will probably be the happiest day of my life. Right after I walk across that stage and that Bachelor’s Degree paper slips in my hand, I will rejoice about what I’ve accomplished. But you know what I will not celebrating? All the money I will owe. Student debt is no joke and almost everyone I know is going through the same thing and not to scare anyone but it worries me a little to say the least!

I am by no means a master of impersonations; there are only a few of mine that are somewhat passable. That’s why I am thankful everyday for the existence of Sylvester Stallone. There’s no way that the man with the iconic voice and extensive list of film can do even more, right? Wrong. The 67-year-old celebrity recently opened an art exhibit featuring his very own work. Selecting around 30 pieces from the past four decades, the appropriately titled “Sylvester Stallone. Art. 1975-2013” exhibit has opened at The Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. Stallone is serious about his artwork.

If you read last weeks Top 5 you saw we mentioned one of the greatest actors in only one of the reboots, Vin Diesel. Of course, he would fit into any role perfectly, and has proven he can do such with his diverse filmography. He’s been robbed of the Academy Award one too many times, and it’s a wonder as to why he hasn’t been at least given a lifetime achievement award yet. This leads to the question “what movies would be better with Vin”?

It appears that Hollywood sees fit to continue to release trailers, so it is our dutiful job to check them out and give you all the deets on what we think of them.
